I have a small machine using a laser diode for wood burning.  For safety reasons, I have the machine fully enclosed in a box when running.  I trigger the laser diode using the C axis direction pin.

I have designed a custom screen for this machine, and I would like to have an on-screen LED light up (or change color) when the diode is triggered on by gcode.

So far I can not get an LED to light in sync with the diode.  Is it possible?

Thank You,
John Champlain

Replying to my own post - may help someone else.

I got it working - using a simple brain routine.  What a powerful feature!

Thanks ArtSoft and Art.
