Ok, so I bought this remote contrller off of ebay Grin , I checked and saw that there had been good feedback left Wink. It arrived today and looks really good for the price, but if the buttons don't do anything its of no use to me.
I plugged it in to a USB port and the power light comes on, but thats the end of the good news! I don't want to put it down because I am pretty sure that its me who does't know how to connect it up to Mach3.
I have done everything it says in the instructions, which is simply to plug it in and then re-config the hotkeys, but no joy. I would expect that it needs to be aligned with something in Mach3, but what?
Can anyone throw some happiness my way please, I would love this thing to work. Huh

Looks like it must just be emulating a keyboard so all you should have to do is go to Config menu then System HotKeys and then press the X++ on that page and when the box pops up press the key on the pendant for X+ and then do the same for the others. For E-Stop  etc I presume the keys must correspond to the hotkey assignment in Mach so should work fne if you use a standard screenset.

Personally I would never rely on it as a sole E-Stop but may be ok if used as an additional one.

Thanks, it looks like the unit is faulty, because windows is supposed to detect it automatically, but I have tried it on 3 PC's and no luck. I will have to send it back and try again, it's just my luck because it seems no-one else has had this problem.
