What is the difference between the DSP/MC "S" and "M" models?

One has analog inputs and one doesn't IIRC.

Thanks for the reply I guess just possible expansion or need I will save for the model with analog inputs.

I have the 7761M which is the first generation and the 7762M, which is the current version. The current version has double the I/O of the old version. Both have the analog inputs.

I also have a bets version of the new stepper board called the Hiconn. I have it hooked up to my lathe and early indications are that it is going to be great.
Ethernet interface and lots of I/O with analog spindle support built in. More info to come as I do more work on it. Threading is already done but I haven't had a chance to try it.
