I want 4 MPG on mach3, one for x,one for y ,one for z and one for a.

three works, but is four also possible?

and can somebody tell me how?

Swets,
Config>ports & pins>Encoder / mpg's allow for configuring 4 mpg's.
You can set which axis is used by the MPG by clicking on the ALT A,B,C buttons in the jogging flyout.

Maybe save yourself some money / work. I use two MPGS and actualy you can use one for all the different axis.

 configuring 4 mpg's?... can only config 3 mpg, or is that what you mean?

so 4 is not possible?

Sorry, my bad, there is only 3 in config.
Is it possible? Probably...if Mach was rewritten to provide for it.....but then why?

oke... why... yeah... why not...  but if it not possible than i use 3 for 3 axis... and if i use the 4 axis i change it with alt-a
