Are you sure it is the plugin you installed rather than the driver as there should only be one dll and it will be  called  SmoothStepper_v17d.dll (if the latest one ) and yes it should be in the main plugin folder.

Thanks Hood, now it works!! If you install the m3p file, it moves the file to a different folder. I had to find it back en put it in the right folder. But then it worked well. Overclocking the speed is possible now.
