Hello Folks

Need your help again.

I am using Cut2D SW - and there, all my sharp corners are displayed as expected. However when transferring the file to Mach3 - all my corners are rounded. The part color on the screen is blue, but the corners are in red as if they were changed or marked to show someting I don't understand.

Any ideas ?

Cheers

Not a lot to go on without pictures but here's a guess at what you're referring to. In Cut2D you're looking at the part and in Mach you're looking at the TOOLPATH to cut the part. The toolpath is offset by the radius of the tool and "rolled" round the corner. This produces an arc which Mach displays in red (by default). All sounds correct and as it should be.

Hi Ian

Thanks for that. Yes you are correct - I did the cut and it was OK - just startled by the curved lines.

Heaps to learn yet :-)

Cheers
