Hi Lads

I have a Foxcom A74ML mother board ,it dose not have a parallel port  Roll Eyes , if i fitted this PCI card  http://www.lindy.co.uk/1-port-parallel-card-pci-32-bit-spp-bpp-ecp-epp/51238.html  ,, would it run Mach3 ?

Just had a look and it dose have an LPT Header ,,,,  After fitting the lead is there anything i will need to configure either in Mach or the computer to get things up and running ?

Check that it is enabled in the BIOS and set to EPP. In device manager you will be able to see the address it is so you can set that in Mach. It will almost certainly be 0378 as that is the default for an onboard port.

Cable came today ,, changed setting in BIOS to EPP as you said ,my machine is backup and running now  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
