XBox360 Controller Plugin Version 2.3.8 Now Available

A new version of the XBox 360 Controller plugin is available.  This version contains one change from the previous version.  Previously, if the controller was moving an axis and the controlller became disconnected, Mach would continue moving the axis.  This has been corrected.  Now all movement started by the controller will stop as soon as the controller looses connection.

Wonderful plugin! Love it!

One little bug to report:
Any axis assigned to the right stick up-down will go approximately twice as fast.  If the right trigger is pressed to jog at 100% it will go well past the max tuning for that axis (ie I have mine tuned to 500ipm max, it tries to go 1380ipm)

All other stick assignments work normally. 
Same problem occurs for X,Y or Z assigned to right stick up-down.

Everything else works great!!  Very cool plugin!

HIYA LEE, I see where the GAMERS have gottoen the mini keyboard with the Xbox working now in windows. Any thoughts to having it work in mach3 as well? Talk about your full service pendant(;-)

The right up down thumbstick moves at the same speed as the others when I test it here.  It is going through the same code.  Your problem is likely either the motor tuning or your controller has a problem. Chech your tuning and try another controller and then let me know.

The minikeyboard is called a chatpad.  Please indicate where you have seen the reference to the gamers getting it working.  The driver that has been out there for awhile did not work very well and the installation had problems.  If they have fixed it or if there is a new driver I will be glad to try it.

For general info, it is possible to use the xbox360 controller at the same time as the ShuttlePro to gain a few extra buttons and the wheel control.

Lee one of the Gammers sites offered up a cash reward for anyone that could create a useable driver.Should be easy to google .

It could be a nice addition to the Xbox pendant.
