Good Morning to everybody

I'm novice in cnc machine, I've bought a 3 axis but I've seen that one of the screww has an eccessive game so I want to substitute with ballscrew one. This last has different step.

My question is the following

Can Mach3 software be programme to accept a different step of a different screw? if yes, how is possible that?

Best Regards

Hi Gabe,

Mach3 has no problem with this.

If you click "Config" then "Motor Tuning" you will see where steps per unit are entered. Select the Axis concerned, enter the new steps then click Save Axis Settings.
