Mach just sits there. I have not waited for hours to see if it ever finishes what it is doing.
The amusing part is I tried the file on another machine and the same thing happens. I am happy to share the file if any one want to try it out.
Thanks
Dave

Zip it up and post it here. Easy enough to test. I have seen files that had a currupt structure that would cause that . Could ALWAYS run it down to a line locator problem in the file.

I believe this is the same file as in the picture.
When it hangs its on line 110 I believe.
Thanks
Dave

NO problem loading here it took less than a second. Loaded it about 20 times all the same.

You may want to look at your Hard Drive AND your Memory chips. One of them may be heading south.

Thanks for running it. I doubted it was the code.
I am having a big issue with my smooth stepper and am in the process of doing a fresh OS install. I am running the machine overnight with MS memory tester running. So far no memory issue. HD is new and no other problems noted. It's a SMART drive so I will do some checking.
At least it's good to know it's a machine related issue.
Thank you.

I had a similar issue when running 3.41. With my 2010 screenset, the path generation window would never close, but I could run Mach with it in the background. With the standard screenset, there were no problems. Updating to 3.42.040 got rid of it. I'm thinking that a script I use for my load g-code button was causing it.

Are you using the standard screens?

Gerry,
I am using Mach 3.043.037 I think
and Mach Standard Mill latest release.
I chatted with Dave of CVI and he thought it was a mach issue.
Thanks
