New to CNC

G'day Guys
                          I have just purchased a Romaxx WD-1 CNC router, I am using Vectric Cut3D and Cut2D for my CAM programs and Mach3 for post processing. I am having a problem with the G codes generated. When I load the G code into Mach3 it shows (a guitar body) the object much bigger than it actually is, and if try to run it is also much bigger than it should be? Please be gentle with me, as I am CNC virgin. Also when I got the machine the sample files supplied were correct size when cut, now they are massive and would not fit on the machine. I did switch Mach3 to metric "mm" as I work in metric which is probably why the sample files no longer work, the new files are in metric though and still are way too big, thanks in advance, Cheers Paul.

Did you also change your steps per unit when you altered the metric setting?

Actually how did you change to metric? was it via the Config menu then Native Units? If you didnt do that and just altered the Steps per unit etc in motor tuning things will be 25.4 times to big.

Thanks for replying Hood, I changed it through the config menu then native units, I did not change steps per unit? It's all new to me sorry. How do I change that, in motor tuning at the moment it says the following. Thanks Paul.

Can you attach your xml and also answer the following
If servos whats the count of the encoders?
If steppers what is the microstepping of your drives?
Any reduction between motors and screws?
What is the pitch of the screws?
