Hello all, I, like everyone else am new to this soft ware and can't seem to get it configured just right.
I have a hobby CNC kit and am trying to configure your software to it. The problem I'm having is when I'm in mill only two axis work, y and z, when I'm in plasma, only y and x work. I have the same settings in both mill and plasma but cant get all three axis to work. The machine is technically a 3 axis plasma but I'm so desperate to figure this out i was trying it in mill with the steppers not connected to anything. any advise would be appreciated.

Can you attach your xml for both mill and plasma and maybe the problem can be found.

The xml files hold the configuration settings for each profile and are stored in the main Mach3 folder. There is an xml for each profile so as default there will be Mach3Mill.xml, Mach3Turn.xml and Mach3Plasma.xml. If you are using standard profiles then its the mill and plasma, if you have made custom profiles then they will have the name you called these custom profiles when you set them up.
