help on steps
«
on:

When going from single start to 5 start screws - My steps were always 2000 before, how do I know what to change it to now?
I am very happy how smooth the X & Y axis run with the new screws. I will change out the screw for the Z axis another day. Right now just want to know how to calculate my steps with the 5 start screws.
Thanks!!!!

Need to know the TPI then divide by 5 and use that to work it out.

I preume that will be 10 TPI so it will take 2 turns to move one inch.
