Hi Guys, I'm Dave and a newbie, I bought a Kit machine from Phil who sells the Pilot Pro, After several weeks of watching Videos on Mach I have some questions.. In the video under homing and limits he can hit the ref all home button and the machine starts to go home.. he hits the ESC key and the Z axis Stops and the program moves onto the Y axis.. My ESC does nothing.. Any Ideas? Thanks And looking forward to posting more..

Esc key normally terminates a macro I think. If using the Ref All and your axis are moving then I would think it would terminate the whole macro so all homing would stop totally.
Do your axis move when you press the Ref All?

Ok look at the lwer right of the main page in Mach and you will see your profile name. Look in the main Mach3 folder for a file with that name and the xml extension. You may need to copy it to your desktop and rename it to something like bajadave.xml for the forum to accept it.

Esc is working fine here with your xml, I pressed RefAll, Z started moving, I pressed Esc and the Z stopped and RefAll macro exited.
If you dont get that happening then maybe it is your keyboard, could even be the layout of your keyboard if it is not a UK or USA layout.

You shouldnt need to press the Esc key to Home, press Ref All the Z should move to its switch, hit the switch and then back off until the switch closes, then the Y will start moving and do the same then the X.
As you have the Y and A slaved then A will move with Y but you probably wont see the A DRO move. I think also you will need to choose the Home slave with Master option on General Config page.
