Mach 3 runs in imperial out of the box.
is there a check list of what i need to do to run in metric.
I'm plasma cutting with rack & pinion and a 5mm pitch ball screw for z.
I have it  running nicely in imperial but would like a metric profile as well.
I know i'll have g20 or g21.
Cheers

First thing is Config menu Then Set Native Units, choose metric. Next is work out your steps per unit for each axis, in the case of metric a unit is 1mm, lastly will be getting your velocity and acceleration, if steppers that will be trial and error if servos the Vel will be known, acceleration will be by trial and error. As you already have an imperial profile multiplying the Vel and Accel by 25.4 should work fine.
