Hi Guy's
I have updated my version of Mach and it lost the setting's i have a back up and there are saved back UP's of Mach in the back up file folder question is how do i restore the XML a simple copy and paste dose not work any and all help is always greatly appreciated.

Simply pasting the xml back will do it, why it doesnt for you I am not sure. Only thing I can think of is you are not pasting a xml of the same name or not starting the xml you have loaded. The other thing I can think of is you are placing a backup rather than a xml.

As to your other part of your question, if you go to I think Operator menu you will see a restore option, you can then choose out of the list which backup to install.

One more question i have is in my G-code i have the feed at 400 MM but when the G-code is run on the machine the feed rate is 290 MM not 400 i have to over ride the feed up to 560 before i get the feed rate i wish to have the machine operate at.

Problem is all the code and XML are on a stand alone system no internet connection i have to copy it all to a drive and then to the internet computer.
