This is a common occurance here, got me too !
You must hit a carriage return at the last line of code.
Most ues a % as the last line to assure that there was a carriage return after the M30

OUR OKUMA 4AXIS LATHE IS THE SAME.... ALL OUR LASERS AND TURRETS ARE FANUC (USING START STOP)

DOES COMMENTS IN MACH USE (  ) ?

I AM BUILDING THIS LITTLE MACHINE TO GO INTO PRODUCTION ENGRAVING PARTS FOR ONE OF OUR CUSTOMERS ... I GOTTA HURRY UP AND GET IT READY ...

Technically, I think you are meant to use ;COMMENT otherwise if you use (COMMENT) the comment will flash in the message/error part of the program .
