Ok, forget about Safe Z for now, it's used to clear the part, clamps or other parts of the set up while rapiding and/or going to the tool change pos (among others).

I believe you are correct about the inhibit.

You set the Persistand where Hood mentioned, Ports n pins, spindle setup.

Your # of passes in the wizard is determined by the total depth and the depth per pass selected.

Thanks Russ, finally I’m there LOL

ok so I got the Z-Inhibit what it does and how we set it on and besides the main Mach screen the Z-Inhibit is also on the Ports & Pins menu / Mill Options and there it’s also the Persistant Option

In other words the Z-Inhibit is a safety option to prevent the Z travelling lower than a certain limit
