probe input

Hi, have been trying to fit a z auto height probe. the breakout board is at
http://hairyraho.com/stepper-driver-board-tb6560-3v2/
Cannot find a input signal , have set to pin 15 port 5 and all sorts of configurations with no luck. Has anybody had success with this board or does it just no have a pin 15 available? Am using pins 10,11,12,13 no trouble. perhaps there is another way of getting an input signal?
thanks

Should it not be port 1?

Hi, yes thats the board tweakie, have tried port 1,with no success. The web site that i have quoted says its port 5 and it says port 5 on the board itself.
thanks

I suspect when it is talking about Port5 it is referring to the actual socket on the board, there is no Port 5 in Mach as far as I know. Parallel port setups use Port 1 and if dual PP then also Port 2.

I understand that it says port 5 but I think Hood is right all your Mach configured inputs and outputs will be port 1.
Locate a free input pin (green connector) and map that pin number using port 1 to 'probe' within the Mach 'ports and pins' setup. That should do it.

Hi, have set port to port 1 , pin 15 but am getting no input on screen. Have tried the auto setup but no input is detected. Am getting 5v between gnd and 5v as marked on the spare 5 pin connector .

Probe should be set active low. If you have ports and pins set correctly touching pin 15 to GND will illuminate the probe LED.

It says you only have 10-13. What is CCOM connected to? That looks like the only other input?

if your home switches are normally open then you can wire a couple of them in series and use 1 pin for 2 home switches, then put the probe on the open pin that one of your home switches was on. say pin 13.
