when i load a g-code to mach i get plain box in window and no code. hit the edit and it comes up all garbled.. when i just open the file i see the code.im missing something simple. just cant put my finger on it.

i got it. when i save as i didnt have the the file type correct.i had it as cnc and not txt. the only other fault in the fanuc6 pp is all the Huh? in the beginning but im sure i can change that. gotta read up on it to see where the setup is. as you can tell im not to savy at this.

Didn think it would matter to Mach what the extension was, more likely to be a bad character in the code. Mach would normlly show the message in the ticker line if that was the case though.  But as long as you have got it thats all that matters.
