Hi,

Can anyone explain about Max CL option on the pins and ports screen?

I am trying to connect Mach3 to a Boss 6 control.

Max CL and MaxNC are just for connecting these specific machines to Mach, what ist does is automatically set the pin numbers to suit these machines and these only, it will not help you with a Boss.

Have you fitted new hardware to the BOSS machine, if its standard Bridgeport then you cant use Mach to control it.
