Wow that's impressive. It looks like its build off a Trex 700? Would love to hear more on its specks. You 3D it yet? Any chance of getting the cad files Smiley Would love to add a bigger heli to my fleet. That thing is a beast!

Excellent work Bladerunner. Did you design the individual parts yourself ?

Hey Sam, most guys at least manage the duration of the fuel tank before making the scrap.  Grin

Thats the best part about CNC... put in some stock and press run and make replacement parts at the touch of a button. Helps with the learning curve. Cheesy

I make a few RC heli parts myself. You can see them at http://www.alumafx.com

howdee Folks..

yes I did ...its been a long project in the making..my 800 size heli holds the "unnoficial speed record at 257kms".....the 1000 size heli..thats by blade size folks 1000mm for interest sake...

the 1000 is my latest design in a series starting with the MINIVOLT 500 ..Volt 700 Wolf 700 MEGAVOLT 800 WEREWOLF 800 and now the AVA 1000....the Volt 700 designs where blatently ripped of by a famous company and sold to the masses...I could not stop them from doing it..but the "700e for them"was a total flop for them as they didnt actually copy the "SACRED" numbers needed to make the Volt and Wolf what it is in the Air....My helis are found here...
www.full-pitch.net
still working on the site
sorry daone files are not freeware as the helis are in production ..have 200 in stock if you would like one....the 1000 costs 5000 usa dollars to produce and its the only one of its kind on the plannet....
scorpion 5035 410
130 main gear
10 pinion
V-stabi
Bls servos allround
built for 24cell (2 x12 cell 6000 mah..thats 12000 mah)
6.8kgs RTF
930 main blades..built for 1000mm blades
TT made from arrow shafts

got 7 min from 6000,s with 1200 headspeed 35% throttle curve (dangerous for the mosfets in the speed) hense the 130 maingear upgrade (thanx to Rave ENV!)
now still have 7 min from 6000 with 1400 with throttle curve at 50% with 113 main and 11 pinion..so tataly the wrong gear ratio but its retrofitted and will test fly soon

thanx

Wow 5 Gs huh? Thats quite a chunk. What will you be selling them for? I know your in Australia but I own a full CNC machine shop here in the states. If you ever need anything done on a production level let me know. I sell more product to Australia than to here in the states on RC stuff. Big biz over there it seams.
