I am going to have to reload XP, can someone tell me which file or file's I need to save so I can just move that into the new install of Mach3.
I am hoping there is such a file that has all the pins and backlash , not sure I remember all the things to do for setting up mach3 and it works so great right now.

Thanks for any help

The file is named after the profile you use and has an xml extension, so for example if using the standard mill profile it will be called Mach3Mill.xml if you have a custom named profile then it will have that name.
Other things you may wish to save is the macro folder for the profile you use, it has the macros in it with any custom ones you have made but also it has the fixture offsets and tool table stored in it. Screensets and associated bitmaps may also be required to save if you use non standard screenset and lastly the Brians folder if you have any Brains made.

Oh and the xml is in the main Mach3 folder, not in the backupxml folder.
