Multi-pull Galil controllers

Could I use a galil DMC-2040 and DMC-2020 together on Mach 3
Serial cable going from PC to the DMC-2040 and and then chaining onto the the DMC-2020

IF yes then do I do the same with the USB cable?

Using two Galil controllers to gain axes is not possible.  

Also, you will need to use USB for the connection instead of Serial.
