So had some computer issues last week, long story short I have a new computer. Talked with Keith at Vortech and he told me all I needed was the Ports and Pins configuration and I would be good to go again. Received the email this morning, it's an XML file and I believe I am supposed to copy-paste it to a Tribal Router II file, the only thing is, I have no clue how to get there and they're not very big on answering the phone at Vortech, so now I'm here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Nolan

Nolan,

Keep in mind, I know nothing about Vortech, but an XML file "should" go into the Mach 3 folder if that's what you are using?

Correct, Mach 3. That's the thing though I'm not sure what file I am supposed to paste it into.

Ok, great, then just drop the xml file into the Mach 3 folder and you should be able to find that profile when you click on the Mach 3 "loader" icon on your desktop. That will start up your Mach s software with the correct XML configuration that you received from Vortech.

Hope that helps-

Where do I find this Mach 3 folder? All I have is: Mach 3 Loader, Mach 3 Plasma, Mach 3 Mill, Mach 3 Mill and Mill on my desktop.

This Mach 3 folder is in the directory on the hard drive on your computer, wherever you (or Vortech) installed Mach 3. The default place is the C: Hard drive.

Ok, so just place the XML file in there and that'll work?

Thanks,

Again, I know nothing about Vortech but the XML should have all the info that is required to run your machine.

Test at YOUR own risk or contact Vortech for confirmation!!
