Its been a while what is the steps I need to upgrade, there is some files I need to keep right?  sorry its been a while

Best to save the xml for your profile as a matter of course but definitely before doing any upgrade. Normally nothing will go wrong but if it does then at least you will have a backup. It will be in the main Mach3 folder and will have the name of your profile so if for example using the standard Mill profile i will be called Mach3Mill.xml

Other files you may like to save are macros and tool and fixture offsets if you use custom macros or tooltables etc, you will find them in the macro folder and then in the folder with your profiles name. Also custom screensets and bitmaps if you are using one and lastly if a licensed copy of Mach then you want to back up the licence. Again its in the Mach3 folder and its called Mach1Lic.dat
