Is there a favorite part# that most use for optical switches?  I would like to find one that would
Have electronics onboard to allow me to hook up directly to mach. I don't know enough about them
To make an intelligant decision.

Optek OPB917B is what I used, only need to add a resistor on the LED positive wire to limit current. 220 Ohm for the 5v supply is what I use.

  i'm not sure but does it look like it should be able to switch 24v on the output side?
