Hi all,

I was wondering if Pokeys is fast enough to connect a toolheight-sensor to one of it's ports (without crashing into the base of a mill ofcourse)?
Is there any difference between the parallelport and Pokeys with reference to communication-speed?

Thanks,
BriBis

Hi!

The main and most important difference is that PoKeys is USB HID device.
USB does not guarantee data delivery in a time. You can avoid that if you secure that PoKeys is only device on USB controller and if you do not use any mass storrage (USB disk or key), USB printer and other USB devices which needs high data transfer at the same time.

regards
