no motor tuning under config

Hi, complete newbie so hope someone can help. Under config I have set all the ports and pins, but not output to my motors although the screen displays says they are turning. When I go to motor tuning under config nothing happens, no screen appears. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in anticipation.

Reinstall Mach over the top of itself making sure you choose the parallel port driver option and see if that helps.

I've also heard of this happening on PC's that are to slow for MAch3
