Hi Hood, you are right, I've tried it tonight on a pc and the sound of stepper sound better, much better..they turn faster too.

was lucky to have a spare pc but would have loved to run it on a laptop, just a matter of space and being able to bring some work back home, might just  be a good thing;)

Well, thanks for your advice. As soon as i get my wire tension device, will post some photos.
