I have a R&P driven with 2 steppers one on each end .
What is the best way to home both steppers to correct any misalignment at homing?

Each side of the dual driven axis must have its own home switch.  Each with their own input.  They cannot share an input.

Then Mach will home the slaved axis and square the axis as accurately as you have set up the switches.

I only have one switch for both the X-axis.

When "REF ALL HOME", only the Master X-motor is turning, the Slave X-motor is standing still.

Why??

On the Gen Config Page check the box that says "Home slave with master axis" A single home switch will be fine
