Hello,
I am new to Mach3 and am installing Mach3 to a no internet bare bones XP pro computer in my shop.  Can I install Mach3 onto my Vista laptop not do the Vista mods, then copy Mach folder and reinstall into XP desktop?

Wouldn't it is be just as easy / fast to just directly install onto the XP computer. Download Mach to a stick and install from it.

This us the way to do it. Mach3 uses a real time driver so just copying files won't cut it. To get a simulated machine identical to your mill for playing with on the laptop, set up your mill, install mach to the laptop in simulation mode, then copy your XML file from the mill to the laptop.
