searching home

Hi,
This is my first post.
I am a beginner and I am retrofitting an old mill with servos and now controlled by a Galil DMC-2100. I have set up the PID speed and acc parameters in Galil tools and there it works fine, but I want to use Mach3. I set the port and pins for homes and limits but where the signal for motor enable (AMPEN) is always low. By the moment, I jump that signal.
I checked the limits and home in the diagnosis screen and works fine. But now the second trouble (maybe related with the first one) When I search home it doesnt stop, even in when it active the limit swich it doesnt stop either. In Galili tools searching homes was done fine....
I am confused and i dont know what to try. Any ideas?
