Hi,
I'm newbie in CNC, and in smoothstepper.
Does anyone know if the 3D probing Plugin  works with a smoothstepper?
It doesn't work by me, plugin is enabled, and if I click on the 3D probing menu, nothing happends!
Have someone test it with a smothstepper?

I'm also interested in this post. I use a SS, but plan to get away from it.
I need to do some probing and was doing my research on probing when I found this post.

Sorry Denis, I haven't  done any probing yet. Just getting started and doing some research when I found this post.  I kind of doubt the problem is the smooth stepper, but then I'm no expert for sure !

I have done some probing with SS and It does work if you have your setup done correctly

Hi Cruiser,
The Probe is working well, only the probing plugin doesn't work by me. I have a 3D probing menu, but I can't go to any setup or routine from this menu.
Is that working well by you?
