Running mach 3, windows xp home.. For some reason when i am moving my mouse around without stopping the steppers work perfect.. If i stop moving my mouse the steppers get choppy,  miss steps, turn the opposite way, untill i move my mouse again.. any help would be great..

I have also noticed that on the diagnostics screen that my pulse frequency is normally around 5000.. when i move my mouse it climbs to 24059..

You probably have some software that's interfering with Mach3.
 24,000-25000 is what you should normally see.

I have changed my freq to 75KHz which kicks it up to 25000 and same issue.. i move my mouse and freq climbs to around 60000 and they run fine...

Wen you change to 75Khz, you should be seeing 75,000, not 25,000.

Run Drivertest.exe in the Mach3 folder.

I have run driver test a bunch of times.. looks like the Rocky's... I load special driver runs even worse.. I did a fresh copy of windows to limit any junk that i had and it still shows up..

Pent 4 2400MHz, 1 gig ram, asus board, nvidia video card..
