OK, how can I add a note in the poll defining what NEMA23 should measure?

Hi Dan,
As the mounting hole dimensions are the same between the NEMA 23 and the 60mm, the major difference is the mounting flange dimensions.
NEMA 23 = 57.15 mm.
Maybe make a note for the customer to check that, Keling or not.

Dan,
Rereading your post, I think I misunderstood.
If you want to add a note to your original poll, maybe an administrator could do that for you. Otherwise, a moderator can modify your first post under the poll as you would like to add the note to measure the flange.
If I got this right.
Thanks,
Russ

Well, the mounting holes are the same, but the dimensions for the screw holes are NOT. The NEMA23 screw holes are on an offset square pattern measuring approx. 1.670 per side, while the 60mm screw holes are on an offset square pattern measuring approx. 1.740 per side.
The mounting flange on NEMA23 motors measure about 2.25~, while the 60mm Keling motors measure about 2.36~.
Dan, maybe you should revise to your website to say "NOTE: These covers DO NOT fit 60mm square frame steppers, which are sold by KelingInc as "NEMA23" size. A true NEMA23 should be about 2 1/4" square,
NOT 2 3/8" square
."
btw, Is there a way you or I can edit my Poll votes?

I don't see any options for this available for me. May be one of the moderators can do this with the tools they have...?

Hi,
Of the 3 motors I sell
http://homanndesigns.com/store/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=25
the sizes are as follows;
269 oz-in 57mm size 23
387 oz-in 60mm Size 23
425 oz-in 60mm Size 23
Most of the steppers I sell are the 387 0z-in as they are best suited to the G540.
Cheers,
Peter.

Thanks Hood.
I tried red, but it didn't look good on the blue background... but may be it's just me... so made it red now anyway...
Daniel
Never saw the red as you have it changed now but from what you and Ger say it sounded bad LOL. What you have now is better I think, it stands out and it is definitely something you want to draw the attention to, it will save you a lot of grief in the long run. Just wish standards were standards, it would make life much easier and believe me it is not just steppers that have non standard standards.
