Daniel, one thought is instead of makeing the hole for the connector could you just give reliefs on the 3 flat sides so users could knock out the one that suits them best? The orentation may not work for all in one configuration.

I think they just call them 60mm motors. They also have larger shafts than a standard Nema23, at 3/8". I plan on using them on my next router. Thanks.

Brett,

I think you can achieve any orientation by rotating the motor and mounting it in the orientation you like..??

Ture, but the problem may be that the wire cover needs to be in a certain position for clearance and that may put the connector in a bad place.

well now....ain't those the best thing since sliced bread! Nice job with the photo's, too. Sometimes getting a good set of pics is harder than making the product. I honestly don't see how you can make those for 10 bucks, and even include the connectors to boot!

I used to sell them on eBay, but their fees are rather high
Ain't that the truth! If your not a medium to large quantity seller, it's just not worth the hassle after everybody gets their hands out of your change pocket. Best of luck!

Thanks Sam. I am glad you can appreciate the photos as well... as you say it wasn't easy producing them.

Brett,

Like you suggest I think I will be offering cover blanks as well (without the connector hole) and let the user make the hole for the connector.

Thanks,

Your welcome Daniel. I did too little to mention though. It looks good. Hope you sell a lot of the covers and look forward to things you'll be adding. Hopefuly it will help you pick up more work too.
