Viista with a pci parallel card, EPP

Hello

I just finished building my small cnc mill and currently configuring my system

I am using a dell inspirion desktop and added a "pci bus single EPP Parallel Port board"

Do I "Have" to have the board with ECP capability

I installed Mach 3 and everything went well but I am unable to turn my motors

Any Help would be appreciated
