Enable 1 red LED on and the machine won't go.  Checked my buddies set up and the light is off and machine works great.  What does it mean, what did I do wrong?

From :-  Config / Ports & Pins / Output signals  you should be able to turn Enable 1 off, by disabling it. That may let your machine work as normal and is worth a try.
