I have one issue after reboot mach and loading it

I get a error in mach

Estop not assigned to smooth stepper input, its wire to port 1  10 and 5 v on bob just wiring diagram states

i have the smoothstepper providing 5 v to bob jumper

There is lots of information that may help in the documents tab at the top of this page and the video tutorials will help too.

I have few issues iusing Windows 2000 machine old desktop which i know is a bit slow but it only has windows
and mach on it, its a clean install ,  i did the drive test passes nicely,,,,  I'm original assumption was the PC was to slow ( 400MHz pII)
so got my new laptop 1.6 ghz 3 g ram but i cant pass the drive test under vista did the vista upgrade etc
try the optimization txt  for xp, can find one for vista? doest it exist?

I'm using the smooth stepper with both PC, when try use my c23 bob and smooth stepper, i assigned the estop to port 1 pin 10 just like the cnc4pc
describes..... estop is nc contact .... under diagnostic i get no led with hardware switch.... i know it wired right?

my question how do i know parallel port number  is right... when i use the smooth stepper? is my port number not right? no luck with limit switches
to, using smooth stepper for bob power? bob led light is on?

when i use the motor tunning program i get no output xyz turned on  im getting nothing,  it must be a smoothstepper problem....

pls help

Did you install the SmoothStepper driver and plug-in? Also if your switching over an existing profile you have to tell it to use the SmoothStepper instead of the parallel port.

Mach3 doesn't use the driver when using the SmoothStepper, so it doesn't have to pass the driver test.

driver works.... smoother stepper not the issue its the c23 with the smooth stepper, driver work, plugins installed, smoothstepper selected in profile

You're misunderstanding. The Smoothstepper handles everything. No need to optimize the PC with the Smoothstepper. And no need to run the drivertest.
