Hi
The machine is getting close to completion. I upgraded the spindle to a R8 spindle from the LittleMachineShop. I have converted my Z axis to a servo and may change to servos on the other axes.  I have tried aluminium, brass, wood and cast iron with great results.  It seems like the project will never come to and end. I almost hope it doesn`t... its been too much fun.
Regards Barry

Hey sorry I was planning on posting too. I looked at pictures on cnc zone or maybe your website, can't remember.

I have some questions about your short axis and the steel how did you machine the flat part? Did you find someone with a mill big enough to do it in one shot or did you do it in sections? The other question i had, how is it working out having one slide rail on the front and the other on the top, i was considering doing this on my version 2 mill. Oh yea what thickness steel tube did you use are you getting any flex?
