Hi,
I am trying to get on with Mach 3 Mill, I am getting  there more or less OK, but some times there are things that I can not do as I would like to, for exemple the speed on the Z axis it is fine on G0, on G1 it is really very slow, I tried to alter the feed rate to a value I want but for some reason when I click enter the value goes to the default value again which is 6 and the movment with this value is very slow.
My questions are:

1-am I dooing the right steps to enter the feed rate value I want?
2-is the program not runing propperly, or did not set it up as I should?
3-shall I enter on the G code with the feed rate I need?
4-has it got to do with the steps selection I did for the motor?

If any one of you manage the time to give me a hand with this, would be great.
Thanks a lot.

Yes, The only way to set a G1 value is in Gcode or from the MDI line. But, if you load a gcode file and it doesn't have a F value in it before you start the program you can manualy enter a feed rate into the feed rate DRO and it will make any feed moves at that speed.
