I'm designing my own screen using Screen4. It's not so bad to use. I am however pulling my hiar out over how to move the backgound bitmap once it's been added. Please - give me a clue as I haven't got one...

Thanks...

Enter the coordinates of the upper left hand corner of your image in the dialog box (right click on it to get the window to open). Both would typically be set to 0. You can also drag it, unless you have it locked.

Thanks very much - got it going.

Now - can you tell me why when I make a background of 1024x768 in Photoshop, load it into Screen4 it looks correct. When I load it into Mach3 it's WAY bigger than it is.

Also - it says somwhere in the doc's that transparent can be achieved using 24bit RGB 245,245,245. PS only offers 8,16,32. No transparency for me...?

In Photoshop, save as .png for transparency, or use color 245,245,245. I use Photoshop for my screens and transparency works fine with .png files.

Also, in general config, you probably have auto enlarge turned on.

Thanks very much for the info. A I was looking around on the forum I saw the "auto enlarge". That was the problem.

Thanks again.
