Hello All,
I'm in the middle of building a 5x10 4 axis Mechmate. I have a PDS Columbo 90rv that will be installed. Does anyone have any experance in setting up the tool changer and the rack (or for that matter the spindle too!)? I'm about a month away from its setup so its time to start detailed planning for it.
Thanks for your time,
Tim

Looking good Tim.  Shocked

Post your questions on the tool changer in the General Mach discussion board. There have been many tool changers of all types set up and I'm thinking this is one of the simplest. Give more detail on it in your post too.

Hey Tim,
Is that the spindle version that you need to add an external fan for cooling?

How much did it cost? I have emailed colombo but have not gotten a reply.

Your machine will be a good powerhorse!
Best Regards
